Beginning Thursday, North Kansas City Hospital and Meritas Health have merged to become "NKC Health."

North Kansas City Hospital has merged with Meritas Health to form a new healthcare system named NKC Health, effective from January 1, 2023. This merger aims to enhance patient care by integrating the services of both organizations, which include primary care, specialty care, and various outpatient services across multiple locations in the Northland area. The new system will operate under the leadership of President and CEO Steve Pollack, with a focus on improving healthcare delivery and maintaining high standards of care. The merger is seen as a strategic move to better serve the community's healthcare needs and to strengthen the overall healthcare infrastructure in the region.
