A recent survey conducted by Priceline reveals that entertainment is a significant factor driving travel decisions, with 75% of respondents indicating that attending concerts, sporting events, or other live entertainment is a primary reason for their trips. The survey, which polled 2,000 U.S. adults, found that 63% of travelers are willing to spend more on travel to attend live events, and 57% plan their trips around specific entertainment events. This trend is particularly strong among younger travelers, with 82% of Gen Z and Millennials citing entertainment as a key motivator for travel. The survey also highlighted that the desire for unique experiences and the fear of missing out (FOMO) are significant influences on travel behavior, with many respondents expressing a willingness to travel further and spend more to attend exclusive events.
