Here's why influencers are in uproar.

Royal Caribbean has banned the use of travel routers on its cruise ships due to interference with the onboard internet service, which is managed by a company called O3b. The ban was implemented after guests reported slower internet speeds and connectivity issues, which were traced back to the use of travel routers. These devices, often used to extend Wi-Fi signals, were found to be causing disruptions to the ship's internet service. Royal Caribbean has asked guests to refrain from using travel routers and instead use the ship's provided Wi-Fi or cellular data services. The cruise line has also stated that it is working to improve its internet service to meet the growing demand for connectivity at sea.
