Great Texas Balloon Race announces 2025 entertainment, drone show's return

  • "We are very excited to bring the Flylight drones back again this year. Last year's drone show was such a huge hit with our guests. They will be back this year with an even larger drone fleet!" Gai Bennett said.

The Great Texas Balloon Race, scheduled for July 18-20, 2025, at the East Texas Regional Airport in Longview, has announced its entertainment lineup and the return of drone shows. The event will feature performances by country music artists Tracy Lawrence and Diamond Rio, as well as a drone show by Sky Elements, which will illuminate the night sky with intricate designs and patterns. Additionally, the race will include traditional hot air balloon competitions, tethered rides, and a variety of family-friendly activities, promising a memorable experience for attendees.
