Bradenton man charged with performing sexual acts contaminating food: FDLE

  • Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced charges in three separate child sex abuse cases on Friday morning.

A 35-year-old man from Bradenton, Florida, named Michael Anthony Garcia, was arrested and charged with performing sexual acts on a dog, as reported by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. The incident came to light after a video was discovered on Garcia's phone during an unrelated investigation, showing him engaging in sexual activity with a dog. Garcia confessed to the act when confronted by deputies. He faces charges of sexual activity with an animal, and was released on a $50,000 bond with a court date set for May 23.
