West University appoints James Novak as new fire chief

James Novak has been appointed as the new fire chief of West University Place, effective January 1, 2024. Novak, who has served as the assistant fire chief since 2019, will succeed Fire Chief Ed Milner, who is retiring after 25 years with the department.
