The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers, is scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 2023, marking its 31st year of operation. On this day, postal customers are encouraged to leave non-perishable food donations by their mailboxes for collection by their letter carriers. These donations will be distributed to local food pantries and charities to help combat hunger, especially crucial as food banks face increased demand and decreased donations post the end of additional SNAP benefits. The drive, which is the country's largest one-day food drive, has collected over 1.82 billion pounds of food since its inception in 1993, significantly aiding communities across the United States.
