A federal judge has declined to grant a request for a temporary restraining order against Elon Musk and DOGE. State attorneys general argue his making government changes is unconstitutional.

A Texas judge has declined to issue a temporary restraining order against Elon Musk and Dogecoin in a lawsuit filed by the state's Attorney General, Ken Paxton. The lawsuit accuses Musk of promoting Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency, in a manner that constitutes an illegal pyramid scheme. Despite the allegations, the judge found insufficient grounds to grant the restraining order at this stage. The case revolves around Musk's public endorsements of Dogecoin, including his tweets and appearances on shows like Saturday Night Live, which Paxton claims artificially inflated the cryptocurrency's value. The decision not to issue the restraining order means that Musk and Dogecoin can continue their activities without immediate legal restriction as the case progresses.
