TNFD launches upskilling platform to help corporates master nature disclosure

The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) has launched an online learning platform named "TNFD Knowledge" to assist businesses in understanding and implementing nature-related disclosures. This platform offers free, self-paced courses designed to help companies integrate nature-related risks and opportunities into their strategic planning and reporting. The initiative comes in response to the growing recognition of the importance of biodiversity and ecosystem services in corporate sustainability. The courses cover the TNFD's framework, which includes assessing dependencies and impacts on nature, and how to disclose these effectively. This educational tool aims to equip finance professionals, corporate leaders, and other stakeholders with the necessary knowledge to navigate the complexities of nature-related financial disclosures, thereby fostering a more sustainable and transparent business environment.
